One of the owners is also a national champion in several different brewing methods. Rogue Wave as a whole is passionate about coffee and expanding coffee culture.

Visit: February 2025 I'm not a big coffee drinker, but they gave good suggestions and the coffee wasn't bitter or overly acidic. It was a really nice cup! It had a floral taste to it as well. The interior is really bright and cute, and the staff was helpful and excellent

I placed my order on a Tuesday, and by Wednesday, my coffee had already arrived at my front door! Living in Calgary, I was thrilled with how quickly my order came. Knowing this, I'll never have to worry about running out of coffee. I've ordered from many small roasters across Canada, and I can confidently say that Rogue Wave is one of my absolute favourites. I love supporting local businesses, and Rogue Wave is easily in the top 3 on my list. Thank you for the amazing tasting coffee! Wow. Rogue Wave Coffee is a humble little unassuming coffee shop that serves a few eats and the basic coffee varieties in an industrial area of the short west end of Edmonton. I was so impressed by the quality and also by the amazing service with a smile. I would easily give this a 5 star and I guarantee coffee lovers will not be disappointed. You don't come here for hip cool ambience. It's not a sexy space but it's functional, they have great coffee and they know their java.

This store remains the ultimate destination in Edmonton for coffee enthusiasts, providing an extensive range of top-notch coffee equipment from most renowned brands. In addition, they have a highly informative Youtube channel where they offer in-depth reviews of various coffee gears, and it was through this that I initially stumbled upon this exceptional place. Subsequently, I came to realize that their coffee beans are truly remarkable. Although they may not have the same level of visibility as other Canadian brewers like Monogram, Phil & Sebastian, Hatch, and 49th Parallel, I believe their coffee beans surpass them all, thanks to their commitment to quality rather than quantity. Furthermore, I recently discovered that one of the owners, Ply Pasarj, regularly competes at national and international levels, further showcasing their dedication and passion for the craft.

Several friends have recommended Rogue Wave Coffee, and I finally got the chance to visit since I have a coffee pass. I will be back! I ordered their pour over tasting flight consisting of a more tame washed Colombian roast, light floral natural Ethiopian roast, and a very adventurous Colombian drip. The first two were spectacular and up my alley, and as fun as the last one was it wasn’t my favourite. If you are more keen on fun and unique coffees, order it! It has this sort-of berry/liquor taste. The overall quality of the pour overs was indisputably top-notch. The room itself was bright with plenty of seating and lovely merchandise. All of the staff were helpful and personable, and the clientele were a joy. I worked as a barista for two-years, but I’ve only recently gotten into home brewing. They were happy to share recommendations, ideas, and simply just chat about coffee.
